Someday, I'll be somebody's favorite. And that will be enough.

I'm in the Business of Falling in Love

"...they say that the Grinch's small heart grew three sizes that day... "

I, like many young people, but maybe more than most, love to think of my future: my career, falling in love, family, friends, potential dinner parties, etc. You know, the basics.
My wedding, for example, will take place in early spring, somewhere beautiful and good smelling. We'll get married in a little field surrounded by a few close friends and family members and a ton of pretty wildflowers. The reception will take place under twinkling white Christmas lights and we'll all have dinner at one long table with mismatched chairs and calligraphied name cards. Our first dance will be to "You and Me" by Penny and the Quarters and everyone will laugh and eat and kiss into the wee hours of the morning.
The whole idea gives me a sparkling, magical feeling inside. I can't wait to fall in love.

Ferris Bueller's on Line Two!

Ladies and gentlemen,
This year for halloween, I created my best costume yet: Ferris Bueller. My first instinct was Molly Ringwald, but she's more difficult than one might expect. Creating Ferris, however, proved as simple as a trip to Jet Rag's $1 Sunday Sale.
One day, I'll even own a basset hound named Bueller. But unlike all the other loser dogs, my dog will only answer to a monotone "Bueller. Bueller. Bueller."
